About the Arkansas Quail Stamps
Available through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the stamps increase awareness of the importance of habitat restoration to benefit Arkansas’s quail populations. Proceeds from the stamp sales will be used for habitat restoration projects on public lands.

THE ARTIST
Clay Connor was selected as the artist for the Second Edition of the Arkansas Quail Conservation Stamp. Clay honed his skill of capturing the outdoors through his adventures of pursuing fin and fowl throughout the United States.   Wildlife art is a passion for Clay; he has been a finalist in the Federal Duck Stamp Program contest and his work has been featured with Ducks Unlimited and Delta Waterfowl. Clay believes in supporting, joining and contributing to outdoor conservation efforts as he has been quoted  “join a conservation organization today so that the images and paintings I capture today are not used as a reference for tomorrow.”


HISTORY
Historic Cane Hill near Lincoln, in Washington County, has partnered with AGFC since 2018 to promote the art and help gain support to restore and conserve quail habitat.
